Bin Collection FAQs
We provide three main collection bins: a general waste bin, a bin for glass and a bin for cardboard.
We collect general waste including general refuse and items that cannot be recycled such as polystyrene and plastic packaging. We also collect recycling materials such as cans, tins, glass bottles, glass jars, paper and cardboard.
We do not collect clinical waste, batteries and electrical waste, lightbulbs, glass that contains substances, hazardous waste, or food waste.
Hazardous waste is any form of waste that poses significant or moderate threat to public health or to the environment. Examples of hazardous waste include corrosive or toxic substances, paints, solvents, pesticides, aerosols, electronics and cleaning products.
DO NOT try to dispose of hazardous liquids or substances yourself as the risk of injury is high and is a task for experts with the proper equipment.
Any waste that is produced by a business is considered to be commercial waste. Commercial waste can be made up of paper materials, retail packaging, cardboard or even food wrappings that accumulate in any business sector.
If your location is within the areas we cover then where you live will not affect the price of your collection service.
If booking a regular bin collection service an agreed date of collection will be disclosed to you in advance of the collection day.
We will perform our bin collection services between the hours of 7am-5pm but we can be flexible within those hours.
